What is this place? A co-op? Non-profit?
Sacred Art is an independently owned business. Sarah wanted to create an alternative venue to the gallery. A place less intimidating, less expensive, and hopefully a little more fun. The goal was to create the year-round art bazaar and have work priced so that anyone who comes in can walk away with something that they love.
Do you offer delivery of purchased artwork?
Any piece can be delivered within the Chicago area for a fee based on the price/size of piece. Average fee $20.
Can you ship pieces that have been purchased from the shop?
We ship anywhere with UPS! Each fee is based on destination and size. Please call for an estimate.
Do you offer layaway?
Yes! We do and it’s a great program. It is an interest-free, 8-week layaway plan. Each deposit you put down on the piece goes towards the total amount (not including tax). We want your art purchase to be an exciting one- not a stressful one! If need be, please feel free to contact us with additional questions.
I love an artist’s style, but want something more specific for imagery- do you offer commissions?
Most of our artists will create a custom piece specifically to suit your needs. The first step is to browse our website or come in to take a look at all of the different styles each artist has to offer. Then just give us a call and we can discuss our options, which there are always many! Deposits are required on all special orders.
Do you offer custom framing?
No, we don’t offer custom framing at the shop- although we did at one point. Our expert framer CPF Services is now working out of a beautiful storefront space just blocks away. Please go visit them at 4428 North Ravenswood. Mention Sacred Art sent you and receive a generous friends and family discount.
I want to hold an evening event in a fun, creative environment- do you offer private parties?
Yes! Celebrate a birthday or just have a group of friends gather and learn a craft together. Call for details and options of which workshops are offered. Drink/food packages available as well. Private trunk show events also available with your chosen artist offering discounted merchandise exclusively for your group!
